The Treeline Project values outdoor education and a large part of outdoor education is being able to properly plan and execute a trip. So, each Treeline Project trip is planned, start to finish, in collaboration with the participants.
The Treeline Project values personal wellness, so no matter the length of trip, wellness topics will be discussed. Please note that this is not clinical therapy.
All details for each trip (location, length, gear needed, activities, etc.) will be determined with each group and personalized after being accepted for a trip.
The Treeline Project focuses on partnering with organizations to offer trips. Submit an application for your organization or group and we will get back with you as soon as possible.
Half-day trips are great for those wanting to get outdoors for a short trip and to get a feel for what it is like to hike with the Treeline Project crew.
This is a great starting point for those who have never been around livestock, or might be nervous about where to start with the outdoors in general.
A full-day trip with the Treeline Project will consist of a morning departure time from the trailhead and returning back to the trailhead in the evening.
A full-day trip is recommended to those wanting to build their confidence in the outdoors prior to going on a camping trip, or simply for those wanting to spend a full-day in the outdoors.
As we find ourselves in the heat of summer, night hikes will be offered to those wanting to stargaze. Hiking at night will also allow us to put less heat stress on the llamas.
Trips will begin at dusk and returning time will depend on length of the hike.
Overnight to multi-day trips are great for those new to camping and have a desire to be in outdoors for an extended period of time.
These trips will provide basic outdoor education, livestock handling, and camping education.
Come explore backcountry waters with a rod in-hand!
